What kind of products do you sell?

We specialize in funny, nostalgic gear for Gen Xers, Boomers, and the young-at-heart. Our collection includes graphic tees, mugs, tumblers, caps, totes, and cozy throw blankets—all designed to arouse a laugh or warm the cockles of your heart.

How long does shipping take?

Because each product is made just for you (no dusty warehouse inventory here), please allow 2–7 business days for production and 3–7 business days for shipping within the U.S. You’ll receive tracking info as soon as your order hits the road. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more information.

Do you offer quality goods? 

All our products are sourced from print on demand providers with the highest quality standards. Here are just a few of the features you can expect with our products.

• T-shirts: 100% cotton for solid colors and cotton/polyester blends for heather colors and sports grey. Made from specially spun fibers that make durable and smooth fabric ideal for printing. The shoulders have twill tape for improved durability, and there are no side seams. The collar is made with ribbed knitting that makes it highly elastic and prevents curling damage.

• Caps: We offer caps made from 60% cotton, 40% polyester for durable structure, an easily adjustable plastic snap closure to fit any head size, and cotton-poly or polyester mesh fabric for breathability. The caps feature a classic 6-panel construction with a mid-profile fit, a pre-curved visor, and a cotton sweatband, keeping the wearer cool and dry.

• Blankets: Our luxurious plush blankets are designed with durable double needle topstitching for long-lasting use. The blankets are made with quick-drying and shape-retaining polyester fabric. 

• Tote Bags: Our totes feature a 100% durable polyester body that maintains shape and dries quickly. Reinforced stitching on the handles provide for added strength. The boxed corners create extra space for storage, and the medium-weight fabric is perfect for everyday use.

• Mugs: Our mugs are BPA and lead-free, microwave and dishwasher-safe, and are made of white, durable ceramic with a glossy finish for an elegant look. The advanced printing technology utilized in the production process creates incredibly vivid colors that make them ideal keepsakes.

• Travel Mugs (Tumblers): BPA free tumblers are made with a durable 100% stainless steel body and double-wall insulation designed to keep drinks hot or cold for hours. The powder-coated finish adds a sleek touch.  A secure push-on lid prevents spills and leaks and comes with its own straw.

How should I care for my products?

Caring for your products extends the life and enjoyment of your purchases. Follow these manufacturers’ instructions when cleaning, washing, and using your products.

• T-shirts: Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Machine wash on cold (max 30C or 90F) with similar colors. Tumble dry on low heat. Iron, steam or dry on low heat.

• Caps: Use warm water and dish soap to clean spots off the hat. It's not necessary to soak the whole item. For hard to clean spots use a soft bristled brush.

• Blankets: Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F), although handwashing is preferred and will extend the quality of the product. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron. 

• Totes: Remove all items from the bag before cleaning. It is suggested to pretreat visible stains with stain remover. Mix warm water with laundry detergent and clean the bag with a terry washcloth or a soft bristle brush. Let the bag air dry.

• Mugs: Clean in the dishwasher or wash by hand with warm water and dish soap.

• Tumblers: It is recommended that the travel mugs are washed by hand with warm water and dish soap. Our 40oz tumblers can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack, although not recommended.

What are my size options for your products?

• T-shirts: Most shirts offer all sizes between XS to 5XL. For more information on t-shirt sizing, refer to our Sizing Chart.  

• Caps: With the snap closure, one size fits all (with a circumference between 21.65 and 23.62 inches, or 55.00 to 60.00 cm).

• Blankets:  There are three size options:  30” x 40”, 50” x 60”, 60” x 80”. 

• Totes: There are three choices of sizes: 13” x 13”, 16” x 16”, 18” x 18”.

• Mugs: Two options: 11 oz or 15 oz.

• Tumblers: Two options: 22 oz or 40 oz capacities.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently do not ship to countries outside the great U.S.A. But check back. We may go global in the near future. If we do, you can expect international shipping rates and delivery times will vary by location. Any duties or taxes will be the buyer’s obligation. But if we’re ever invited to a trade talk, we’ll see what we can do about that last piece. It would be recommended not to hold your breath, though. We try to be funny, but we’re not that powerful.

What if something arrives damaged or incorrect?

If your item shows up looking like it fought a battle with a postal truck, we’ll make it right. Send a photo and your order number to support@elderwitapparel.store within 14 days of delivery and we’ll replace or refund as needed. And we’ll help you scream at the postman if you like, unless he or she is bigger. Then we’ll do what we can about the mula or merch. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because your item is printed after you submit your order, we don’t hold inventory. This means we do not have the capability to accept returns or make exchanges for wrong size or buyer’s remorse. That said, if we messed something up, we’ll absolutely fix it. And tell us anyway. We want to make you happy as much as possible. Please refer to our Return Policy for more information.

Do you offer gift options?

Absolutely! Our gear makes the perfect gift for retirements, birthdays, and midlife awakenings. Just note: we don’t offer gift wrap, but you will get cool packaging and a laugh-worthy product inside. Can I customize a design?

We're not offering full-on custom designs yet, but we’re listening! Check back in the future. We’re always looking for ways to make our customers happy.

Who comes up with these designs?

That would be the shop owner—humor-loving Gen Xer who grew up with Saturday morning cartoons, cassette tapes, and a home computer with 64KB of RAM (that was cutting edge then). Elderwit is 100% original, quirky, and proud to keep it that way.

But, if you’ve got a killer idea, shoot us a message. We’d love to see if we can make it happen for you. Just nothing that would violate someone’s copyright. We prefer to stay outside of courtrooms and prison cells, if you don’t mind.
